MARIONI is a family story

The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its lines of interior accessories, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and handcrafted craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, which heralded success thanks to precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and management evolution that led the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand continues to evolve with over fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
