In 2016, the ExCentric 1.0 collection received the “A’ Design Award” in the category of “Furniture, Decorative Articles, and Homeware Design”. This piece is entirely made in Portugal and handcrafted. Each stage of the process is carefully executed or overseen by the creator within a small workshop context.
More than an architect or designer, João Faria is a creator of concepts, original products, exclusive furniture, spaces, buildings, and interiors. A connector between the best of two worlds, sometimes as different as modern technology and ancient traditions.
