The times we live in are associated with increased consumption. Therefore, the items we use daily are devoid of any value other than functional. Each year, we often do not give them the attention they deserve, replacing them with newer models.
In complete opposition to this situation is the philosophy of Berti Knives, a manufacturer of exceptional knives for various purposes. Founded in 1895 by David Berti, the family workshop appears to be entirely autonomous from the trends that have dominated the world over the years. Its core value is fidelity to tradition, which is still cultivated by the fourth generation of experienced artisans.
The brand's founders firmly reject the idea of mass production by random labor, which they believe would lead to the loss of the identity of the products. For this reason, their company's philosophy places special emphasis on the employed personnel. However, this does not mean that this Italian family is closed to change. Changes are highly welcomed, provided they introduce elements consistent with the existing idea and can withstand years of quality testing.
Unlike competitors, the various stages of knife production are not handled by specialized groups of artisans but are often performed from start to finish by the same person. Thanks to this practice, each blade is completely unique.
