MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
During this period, the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the brand continues to evolve, enriched with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking pure Italian luxury.
