Italian Manufacturer Cosi Tabellini Art of Pewter – over 60 years of tradition
The tradition of creating pewterware in Italy dates back to the early Middle Ages. This craft was primarily practiced by the inhabitants of Lombardy. It was here, in 1954, that Bruno Cosi, together with his nephew Sergio Tabellini, opened his small artisan workshop. He initially focused on creating tableware from pewter, as well as various decorative items. The exceptional craftsmanship and artistic eye of the creator quickly made the products from this modest shop popular. Over the years, the small workshop transformed into a large manufacturing company, and today it is managed by the descendants of Cosi and Tabellini – Sergio’s children. The company still maintains a family character and continues to emphasize handcrafted production methods that border on craftsmanship and art. That’s why their unique decorations are appreciated worldwide.
