Odegard Carpets began its operations in the late 1980s, revolutionizing the world of weaving craftsmanship. It uses Himalayan wool sourced from the fleece of local sheep. They graze at altitudes above 4200 meters above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This unique property makes the brand's carpets more resistant to stains.
Beautiful colors are the result of manual processing and dyeing. The designers draw inspiration from a combination of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many patterns are inspired by the shapes of tropical leaves or the spectacle of the setting sun over the peaks of the majestic Himalayas.
All OC products are handmade from highly selected silk and Himalayan wool yarns. The dyeing process is entirely natural, utilizing organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
