Description
An exceptionally classic style combined with the highest quality materials gives us the synonym of the Salda 1870 brand.
Family history
The Besana family turned their passion into a livelihood, bringing value and experience in production based on their own heritage, which must be protected and enriched.
The Salda manufactory was born in the early 19th century, when Arcangelo Besana and his wife, decorators of the Austrian royal court, established an artisan workshop producing furniture and accessories for the grand residences of French nobility.
Strong, timeless taste
In the heart of Brianza, in the center of the Italian furniture district, is Salda, a brand with over 140 years of experience in creating and manufacturing exclusive furniture. For more than five generations, it has been passing down its craftsmanship secrets, experimenting skillfully with style combinations and following the latest trends.
Unique and one-of-a-kind collections
For five generations, creativity, care, and mastery have flourished at Salda, blending to highlight the gesture of the hand and to bring to life unique pieces of natural wood. Production capacity is combined with creative research into new lines, models, materials, and techniques, as well as finishes, to maintain the original and, above all, natural style of elegant furniture.
Strong, yet primarily shaping new lines of taste.
Salda creations perfectly adapt to their surroundings, maintaining classic and traditional lines. The entire furniture-making process respects the drawings, which are passed down to future generations. This has resulted in a valuable and rich historical archive.
