The brand started its activity in the late 1980s, revolutionizing the world of weaving craftsmanship. It often uses Himalayan wool sourced from local sheep. These sheep graze at altitudes above 4200 meters above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This particular property makes the brand’s rugs more resistant to dirt.
Vivid colors result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspiration for creating the rugs includes a mix of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and — as shown by the Branche model — nature. Many patterns are inspired by the shapes of tropical leaves or the colors of the sunset over the Himalayas.
All products from this company are handmade from carefully selected silk and Himalayan wool yarns. Wool dyeing is a completely natural process. Organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron are used, while maintaining the highest quality.
