The brand was founded in the late 1980s, revolutionizing the world of weaving craftsmanship. It frequently uses Himalayan wool sourced from local sheep. These sheep graze at altitudes above 4200 meters above sea level, and their wool is rich in lanolin. This special property makes the brand’s carpets more resistant to dirt.
Vivid colors result from manual processing and dyeing. Inspiration for creating the carpets includes a mix of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and — as the Branche model shows — nature. Many patterns are inspired by the shapes of tropical leaves or the colors of the setting sun over the Himalayas.
All products from this company are handcrafted from carefully selected silk and Himalayan wool yarns. Wool dyeing is a completely natural process. Organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron are used, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
