The origins of the New York brand date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish an exclusive company.
The rugs are made using, among other materials, Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettles, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, mostly plants are used, which will surely appeal to all those who care about the environment.
Each product is handcrafted in Nepal, where highly skilled workers produce them manually. Afterwards, the rugs are shipped to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. Thanks to increased lanolin content, these rugs are softer, more stain-resistant, and acquire a beautiful sheen.
