The Discovery bed evolves alongside your child's development. From a simple floor bed to a canopy and bunk beds, the Discovery is an adaptable sleeping solution that can be tailored to the needs of the family. It can be raised to a more conventional height or even fitted with a pull-out bed. This original model allows children to explore the world while creating their own. The design elements suggest movement but are open to interpretation. It can be associated more with a mode of transportation than with a street vendor stall or an ice cream seller. The Discovery bed offers a cocoon-like section where a child can cuddle and fall asleep safely. The shelf is designed at the front of the bed and can, for example, support a nightlight nearby. For storing teddy bears by the bed, a toy box has been designed. Everything is suitable for children to create their own space, their cocoon, their home.

In the spirit of active pedagogy, with a focus on Montessori principles, children independently discover their environment and their bedroom, and can easily get up or enter the bed when sleepy and tired. The Discovery bed is available from a very young age.

The bed is primarily made of solid pine wood with additional MDF elements. The forests are PEFC certified. It is available in a natural lacquer and 27 water-based finishes. A version in natural wood for DIY painting is also available.

Products are made from birch plywood, solid wood, or European MDF E1 panels. Painting is exclusively water-based, ensuring safety for children. The color palette is extensive, allowing everyone to choose any hue from the RAL palette. All items produced by Mathy by Bols are PEFC certified. All furniture shown can be purchased in any configuration. Bunk beds are also available as single beds for children’s rooms. Playhouses can be customized with slides or ladders. Everything depends on our imagination and the needs of our little ones. Mathy by Bols offers not only fun but also durability. The furniture is designed to last through many years of use by children, thanks to technological processes and high quality.
