Description
Original and modular sofa with a distinctive, creative character, making it an ideal choice for a dynamic yet sought-after style. Glazed ceramic legs give it an eclectic look. It can easily be combined with tables from the Carousel line, made of brass, glass, and ceramic. Carefully crafted details make the Baia sofa exceptional. The armrests and backrests feature an outwardly inclined top side, which not only increases seating comfort but also adds value to the overall style. Several modules are available.

MARIONI is a family story
The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial craft-based nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate character. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection debut, which presents an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and signals success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products referencing the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and management evolution that led the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. In this way, the company brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking completely Italian luxury.
