MARIONI is a family story

The brand, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni’s intuition. The initial craft-based character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate form. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creative details and manual craftsmanship.

After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of elegant products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.

The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and management evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of a proprietary archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.

In 2018, the company’s firstborn Vittoria joined as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company continues to build on fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking complete Italian luxury.
