Modern table lamp inspired by trees - Insidherland

Inspirational trees are the essence of personal fascination. Slim, geometric, and seemingly minimalistic, it is a lighting element made entirely of brass, which has form, image, and meaning, aiming to convey a message of equality among many types of trees without emphasizing any specific example or feature. At the “tree top,” a detailed, handcrafted work for visual transformation of the material reflects the richness of light and shadow present on every real tree, leaving a calm brightness—take care of its trunk and base. Light is distributed through three levels of the “tree top” and disperses, controlled by the geometry of several overlapping elements, illuminating the surrounding space in an unexpected way; almost ethereal.

Gigantic correlation of peculiar memories and designer furniture projects are synonymous with a Portuguese manufacturer. Insidherland was entirely created by Joanne Santos Barbosa in 2012 and reflects high-quality luxury.

An incredibly impressive wide range of contemporary elite furniture, lighting, and accessories bears witness to true functional art. Joanna explores the influences of her travels around the world to define Earth as a place that allows translating these experiences into original designs.

The true essence of InsidherLand is presented by two inspiring series. The Beyond Memory collection is deeply influenced by organic forms of nature, legends, and traditional cultures. Meanwhile, the Identity collection is shaped by architectural and artistic forms, interiors surrounded by natural materials, and significant works of art.

I am deeply convinced that I am not a creator of objects, but a fearless sculptor of dreams. My designs create a unique vision that combines the wild side of nature’s wonders with a refined lifestyle inspired by artistic influences.

Every creation is endowed with narration and symbolism, and my Land is a creative place where anything can happen and everything is possible. Mountains turn into surprising armchairs, trees into mysterious cabinets, architectural details are captured through geometric lighting, and even a painting is reimagined on an exquisite table.

Meticulously crafted using traditional techniques by my team of Portuguese masters and jewelers, each personal influence becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art.
