The Albino Miranda brand is a Portuguese manufacturer creating unique furniture, closely connected to its creator. Since 1989, the owner started with sculptures, later expanding his offer to include unconventional furniture worldwide. Albino designs two product lines, appropriately named Gansk and Karpa. Of course, many similarities can be found, but their styles differ significantly from each other.
Karpa features captivating pieces that surpass any design standards, which is why we fell in love with them. They are closely linked to sculpture and the owner's passion. A clear influence of handcrafted work and chisel carving is evident. Elegant styles are complemented by high-quality materials that we can freely select according to our individual projects. The sculptures, forming a whole with minimalist shapes, make a huge impression. It’s hard not to feel that the designer draws heavily from surrealism, nature, and the magic of design. The bases of prestigious tables or consoles often resemble the roots of large trees. This is a very peculiar mix and clearly has no equivalent among our other niche brands.
Meanwhile, the Gansk line features exceptionally modern designs created with a light touch. These are luxurious furniture pieces with simple and fresh shapes. They appear very lightweight and perfectly complement any designer interior. Simplicity and slender lines will provide any design enthusiast with a solid dose of fine functional art.
