Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings. In the 1950s, when the modern design of Sartori carpets started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. These exciting carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Through collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. In this way, a unique and very special carpet is created, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
