The origins of the New York-based company date back to 2001. Michael Mandapati decided to establish a company unlike any other at that time.
The rugs are made using Himalayan wool and mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing, plants are used, which will surely appeal to those who care about the environment.
All products are crafted in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans create them by hand. Afterwards, the rugs are sent to Switzerland for finishing, giving them their final appearance. Thanks to a higher content of lanolin, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain a distinctive shine.
