Malabar Manufacture was founded in 2012, with the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the World Architects collection of stylish furniture. It has designed and released a total of 5 unique collections of furniture and accessories.

Malabar's furniture production comes from the Porto area, a northern region in Portugal, with a long and strong tradition in handmade products.

What raw materials does Malabar use in production?

The brand uses the most exclusive varieties of wood. These include ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, elm, basswood, olive wood, bird's eye, uneven, poplar, satinwood, and ash.

Malabar also uses ancient lacquer application techniques. First, copper, gold, silver, rose, and tiger color leaves are applied, then lacquered. 

The types of glass used by the manufacturer include dark glass, smoked, gold, antique, and antique bronze.

The types of marble are also varied, including Sahara, gray Kenzo, Nero Marquina, Portoro, Gris Douro, black gold, Guatemala Verde, tiger skin, Ochiro, Calacatta Vagli, Estremoz, Carrara gold, Carrara, white Extremez, travertine.
