Minimalist, elegant desk for the Director - Prof

Elegant and functional Slim Executive collection is gaining a new look thanks to new materials and refined finishes. THE DESK features a wooden construction with a thickness of 40 mm, available in melamine or matte lacquer finish, as well as a top made of melamine, anti-touch lacquered glass, diamond effect, marble, Fenix NTM, and veneered wood. To meet the needs of a flexible and modern workspace, three versions are available: a simple configuration, one with a writing board of reduced depth, and a traditional writing surface. Complementary are dedicated service furniture pieces that add functionality to the office. Rectangular and shaped CONFERENCE TABLES are available in various depths and can be folded with a shared central leg for channeling. COFFEE TABLES come in four sizes, which can be combined individually or linked, suitable for waiting areas, lounges, and home environments.

DESK / The desk can have a construction, skirting, and top in the same color. Alternatively, you can combine the skirting and top in the same color or structure and skirting.

DESK + EXTENSION / With a specially dedicated leg, the desk is offered in a version with a connector, to which a top serving as a convenient extension can be added.

Prof Office was founded in 1995 from experience in the furniture industry, rooted in a family industrial background that designs elegant office furniture systems, deeply anchored in the northeastern Italian furniture district. Over these twenty years, the company's economic growth and development path have allowed it to look at the international market, contributing to the dissemination of Italian design and the highest quality worldwide. By consulting architects and designers, Prof has strengthened its identity and expanded its product range.
Starting with stylish executive collections, then developing operational systems, reception solutions, and conference rooms, up to partition walls. Today, this allows offering holistic and customized furnishing solutions for every workspace.

HEADQUARTERS

The headquarters of Prof, along with the plant and offices, is located in Falzè di Piave, in the province of Treviso, 70 kilometers north of Venice, in one of the most important industrial furniture districts in Europe. It covers a total area of approximately 8,700 sqm, of which 3,600 sqm are covered. The facility, specializing in the production of office furniture, is equipped for operations in the wood department, assembly, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished products. The main building houses executive, sales, technical, and administrative offices, conference rooms for client meetings, and an exhibition showroom of over 400 sqm, showcasing all collections of prestigious office furniture. In 2017, an expansion of over 1,800 sqm was completed, with 640 sqm dedicated to production, 330 sqm to new offices, and 830 sqm to a new showroom.

PRODUCTION

The company manufactures exclusively at the Falzè di Piave plant in Treviso and always bases its identity on maximum respect for people, the land, and materials. Strong local roots and innate “know-how,” which has evolved also thanks to new technologies, have allowed Prof to confirm and solidify its success, continuing to combine tradition and innovation, adapting to new socio-economic changes. Prof’s production organization is focused on “just in time,” enabling reliability, inventory reduction, and increased quality and customer service. The entire Prof network operates mainly within Italy, primarily in the local manufacturing district where most raw material and semi-finished component suppliers are located. All products are designed and made entirely in Italy to ensure a standard of constant excellence.

PROJECT

At Prof's factory, every piece of equipment is designed based on an understanding of the changing dynamics of workplaces. Research has always been a strategic element of the company's development policy and is expressed through an internal Design Department that works closely with external designers. It is continuously updated in line with technological and legislative evolution. Prof models are entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, fully compliant with European safety and health standards. For this reason, Prof collections stand out for their high design, ergonomics, and functionality.

DESIGN CONSULTING
Prof provides comprehensive design and consulting services, including analysis of client requirements, layout studies with targeted and personalized equipment proposals, along with technical drawings and rendering.

CUSTOMIZATION

Prof can offer and execute personalized services on standard production models: from manufacturing oversized components, sourcing new materials and finishes, to producing samples and prototypes. Thanks to its versatile production capabilities, Prof has developed specialized knowledge in non-standard consumable materials, handling projects from small and medium-sized to highly personalized creations.

AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Thanks to the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 certification system for managing non-compliant products and complaints, Prof maintains constant control over issues encountered during assembly and use. The company provides technical and after-sales support services, including full information, modifications, and repairs.

BESPOKE PRODUCTS

Prof’s high production flexibility allows, in addition to series manufacturing, the realization of custom-designed projects tailored to specific client needs. The Design Department can support clients or designers in developing and producing unique products, both functional and aesthetic, with completely individual finishes.
Careful advice at every stage: targeted design, with meticulous material selection and attention to detail, culminating in construction step-by-step until final installation.
The production is fully adapted to individual requirements.

ENVIRONMENT

In response to increasing international market competitiveness through improved customer satisfaction and loyalty, and rationalization of internal production processes, Prof obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification in 2012. Adopting a quality management system is a strategic decision for Prof, enabling more concrete business goals. In a world constantly seeking quality and increasingly sensitive to environmental issues, Prof focuses on maximum experience in designing and manufacturing office furniture with respect for the environment. From carefully selected raw materials, through the entire processing and packaging process, to disposal, everything aims to protect health and save energy.

As a result, Prof uses certified E1 panels in accordance with European regulations on formaldehyde emissions, both for raw materials and laminates.
Each panel is then marked by the Ecological Panel Consortium, ensuring that semi-finished products are produced through the reuse of wood in the manufacturing process, which does not involve tree felling.

Obtaining the ISO 14001: 2004 certification in 2012 confirms Prof’s commitment to establishing its own environmental management system, regulating the impact of production activities on the environment, and striving for continuous improvement. In 2015, during the company's twentieth anniversary, Prof introduced a new green mark to confirm and identify its commitment to sustainable environmental development as an integral part of its operations and growth process. In 2017, the company reaffirmed its “eco-friendly” strategy, emphasizing its values of “sustainability” and “responsibility,” and switched to a new electricity provider (Dolomiti Energia) that sources 100% from renewable sources.
