Description
The Radieux dresser by Malabar from the "World Architects" collection features a silver leaf finish and is supported by drawers and interiors made from solid wood. Drawers open smoothly with a soft-close system.
Inspired by Le Corbusier, one of the pioneers of modern architecture, the geometric character of the Radieux dresser reminds us of Le Corbusier’s influence on urban planning.
The Malabar brand was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has made its mark at the most prestigious international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing innovative design.
Malabar’s furniture is produced in the Porto region of northern Portugal, an area with a long-standing tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this exceptional brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted craftsmanship, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxurious furniture.
The use of various techniques in working with natural wood results in stunning effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of their design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and bold colors dominate, significantly deviating from traditional and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in their daring furniture designs.
The company’s name originates from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history after the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold maritime route.
That tradition continues today, as Malabar defines very individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely exclusive.
And these are exactly the kinds of products we love and feature on the My Luxury Products platform.
