Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman (W100) Replica

The Mercedes-Benz 600, also known as W100, was the most advanced vehicle created by Daimler-Benz in the 1960s and 1970s. This stylish vehicle was used worldwide by and for the upper echelons. The four-door sedan is nearly two meters wide and 5.54 meters long, while the six-door Pullman Saloon measures 6.24 meters in length. The third version is the open Pullman Landaulet. It features a fixed roof over the driver/chauffeur area at the front and a folding roof over the passenger compartment at the rear. Two versions of the Landaulet were available: one with a long rear hood and another with a short one.

At the rear of the classic Pullman, two rows of seats are arranged. In the long six-door version, a middle row of folding seats could be chosen. It was intended for clients traveling with staff or bodyguards.

The vehicles were powered by a fuel-injected 6.3-liter V8 engine with 250 HP. This limousine, weighing 2.6 tons, could reach speeds of up to 205 km/h. During its peak popularity, the 600 Pullman was the fastest mass-produced sedan in the world.

The comfort of the vehicles was enhanced by pneumatic suspension, an advanced hydraulic power steering system, electrically adjustable heating and ventilation, air conditioning, hydraulically adjustable seats, hydraulic windows, and sunroofs. For interior decoration, clients could choose from various finishes with noble wood and the finest velour or leather. At the rear, there was also a bar with a refrigerator, a car phone, and a sliding partition.
Thanks to this luxurious car, Daimler-Benz made a loud splash among the international elite, and for decades, the 600 Pullman was a benchmark that represented class in its purest form.
