Description
The famous Portuguese tiles decorating the screen composed of Camellia feature a XVII-century style camellia, still adorning many walls in Lisbon today. Combining classic floral motifs with mirrored surfaces, the modern foldable Camelia screen creates a versatile and stylish room separator, perfectly suited for both traditional and contemporary spaces.
Built like a traditional Portuguese façade, the construction of this contemporary foldable screen and mirror is made from solid cherry wood. Enhance any modern living space by creating unique and personalized areas with this stunning and modern folding screen.
The Malabar brand was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has made its mark at major international trade fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing innovative design.
Malabar furniture is produced in the Porto region of northern Portugal, an area with a long-standing tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this exclusive brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that set such original companies apart. Emotions, handcrafted craftsmanship, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxurious furniture.
Various techniques used in creating products from natural wood produce incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and bold hues dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture styles.
Besides wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in the daring furniture designs.
The company’s name derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a bold sea route.
This tradition continues today, as Malabar defines highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, daring, and extremely luxurious.
And these are exactly the products we love and introduce to the My Luxury Products platform.
