Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and then in 1920, the second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the innovative pattern of Sartori rugs began to gain popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand seized this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Following a collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a modern concept took shape: using old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and very special rug, a synthesis of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
