The PVD finishing method offers many advantages, including:
products feature an exceptionally hard surface, optimal resistance to abrasion and scratches, high corrosion and UV resistance, low-temperature processing (100-360°C) that prevents thermal deformation, products after such treatment have excellent adhesion, meaning the PVD layers strongly adhere to the substrate and do not peel off. Additionally, they have remarkable resistance to solvents and acids. They also boast high durability (typical PVD layer lasts about 10 years).
Zanetto is a company founded by Bernardo Zanetto in 1963, who from a young age was passionate about working with precious metals.
He spent a lot of free time observing craftsmen at work in workshops located in the heart of Padua.
At the age of 14, he secured a desired job in one of these workshops — from the beginning, his hidden potential was recognized. Determined and talented, he eventually decided to open his own workshop.
After some time, he received his first recognition — a gold medal at the International Craft Fair in Florence.
