MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved and since the 1980s has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its interior accessories lines, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This period saw the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the company continues to build on fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
