The PVD coating process is environmentally friendly, as it takes place in a vacuum. Products finished with this technique can achieve any gold color with an evenly applied layer.

The main advantage is the low temperature of the coating process (100-360°C), which prevents thermal deformation. Items processed this way have excellent adhesion, meaning the PVD layer strongly bonds to the substrate and does not peel off.

Additional benefits of the PVD procedure include: surfaces with extraordinary hardness, optimal resistance to wear and scratches, high corrosion resistance and UV protection, resistance to solvents and acids. Moreover, they are highly durable (a typical PVD layer lasts about 10 years).
