Description
Suppose the interior architecture project Design Studios in Hiroshima, Japan, brings nature into a boutique environment. By placing an infinite number of cardboard tubes in the store, visitors feel as if they are walking through a forest or cave, recreating an unlikely organic experience in the heart of the city.
The modern Wanderlust II dining table features various heights and widths of polished brass tubes. This contemporary dining table brings a natural landscape into any modern dining room.
The marble Carrara top adds class and elegance to the stunning structure of this modern dining table. The Wanderlust II Dining Table was designed by Malabar and is part of the World Architects collection.
Malabar Factory was founded in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory collections.
Malabar has made its mark at major international trade shows such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing innovative design.
Malabar’s design originates from the Porto region in northern Portugal, an area with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this exclusive brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted techniques, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of elegant furniture.
The diverse techniques used in working with natural wood produce incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Vivid and striking colors dominate, significantly diverging from traditional and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the brand uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in bold furniture designs.
The company’s name derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices motivated Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to set highly individual design boundaries and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely luxurious.
And these are exactly the kinds of products we love and bring to the My Luxury Products platform.
What raw materials does Malabar use in its production?
