Description

The contemporary Templo cabinet is inspired by the eccentric and extraordinary buildings of Gaudí, a Spanish artistic reference. In its simplest setting, it elevates life and joy, conveys positive feelings, and provides a unique contemplative experience that transports us to another world where imagination knows no limits.

The modern Templo cabinet features bright colors, shapes, and patterns in every room of the house or hotel. It is a modern beverage cabinet, so carefully hand-painted and finished that its appearance resembles real ceramic tiles. This piece is supported by an iron structure, and its interior is gilded. Templo is part of the World Architects collection.

The Malabar manufactory was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the stylish World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.

Malabar has left its mark at major international trade fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing design.

Malabar’s design originates from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, a region with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.

The identity of this exceptional brand is rooted in the national architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.

International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that set such original companies apart. Emotions, handcrafted quality, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of exclusive furniture.

The various techniques used to produce goods from natural wood yield incredible effects, as seen in Malabar’s exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.

Vivid and striking colors dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.

Besides wood, the brand uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in bold furniture designs.

The company’s name comes from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.

This remains true today, as Malabar continues to define highly individual design boundaries and evoke strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely exclusive.

And these are the products we love and bring to the My Luxury Products platform.

What raw materials does Malabar use in its production?

The company employs the most refined types of wood, including: ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, wenge, basswood, olive wood, bird’s eye, burl, poplar, satinwood, and ash.
