The beginnings of Warp & Weft's New York operations date back to 2001. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this exceptional place.
The production uses raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen. For dyeing - plants, which is a very ecological processing method and will certainly appeal to those who care about the environment.
Each product is made in Nepal, where highly skilled artisans craft them by hand. Later, the rugs are transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining a unique appearance. With increased lanolin content, they are softer, more stain-resistant, and gain exceptional gloss.
