These sheep graze at altitudes above 14,000 feet above sea level. Their wool is rich in lanolin, which makes Odegard Carpets rugs and kilims more stain-resistant.
Intense shades are the result of manual processing and dyeing. Inspiration for creating rugs comes from a blend of Venetian fabrics, Tibetan and Buddhist symbols, art, architecture, and nature. Many patterns are inspired by tropical leaf shapes or the colors of the sunset over the picturesque Himalayan peaks.
All rugs of this brand are handcrafted from carefully selected silk and Himalayan wool yarns. The dyeing process is entirely natural. Organic materials such as nuts, roots, or saffron are used, maintaining the highest quality standards.
