MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually developed lines of interior accessories, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are associated with creativity in details and craftsmanship skills.
After the premature death of Paolo in 1992, his son Simone took over the reins of the brand and led its development and expansion into international markets.
It was during this time that the Cultura d’Arredo collection was launched, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralding success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of exclusive products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution across all countries and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR reality.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. This way, the brand brings fifty years of experience into the present, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
