In 2016, the ExCentric 1.0 collection received the “A’ Design Award” in the category of “Furniture, Decorative Articles, and Homeware Designs.” This piece is entirely made in Portugal and handcrafted. Each stage of the process is carefully executed or supervised by the creator within a small workshop context.
More than an architect or designer, João Faria is a creator of concepts, stylish products, luxury furniture, spaces, buildings, and interiors. A connector between the best of two worlds, sometimes so different as modern technology and ancient traditions.
