The company’s beginnings date back to 1988 and a small London workshop. The ambitions of the artisans producing these items led to the brand’s development. The true breakthrough came with new British craftsmen who inspired the original creators. Over time, ideas grew, and Porta Romana became a global company.

The design studio is led by Shazeen Emambux. Artists discuss their concepts with manufacturers to create innovative products.
