Vegetably tanned leather
Vegetably tanned leather absorbs marks, gives the leather a new refined appearance, and experiences new shades and colors. Similar to patina that develops on the surface — indicating very high material quality.
The brand sources the most delicate and high-quality raw materials from Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland. This is the essence of the entire product-making process. The process of ''slow tanning'' is performed with animal fat (tallow) and tannins extracted from bark, chestnut, and mimosa wood.
The leather is then greased in wooden barrels with animal fats, air-dried, refined with natural dyes, and polished with amber stones. That is why Arte & Cuoio products are so unique and one-of-a-kind. Simple design combined with the highest quality leather provides deep sensations and a distinctive, unspoiled scent.
Since 1980, the company has also been designing and manufacturing custom orders. Its products are found on luxury yachts, extravagant hotels, private jets, and elite offices.
