The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, is a world-renowned center of botanical and mycological knowledge. Kew features a gallery dedicated to the works of the extraordinary Victorian artist Marianne North, who had a keen eye for botanical details. She set out in 1871 on a painting expedition across the world's flora. North's journey to South Africa was one of her last, alongside trips to the Seychelles and Chile.
