Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, and later in 1920, a second in Rovigo, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the innovative pattern of Sartori carpets started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market from Italy to the whole world. These elegant carpets gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. In this way, a unique and very special carpet is created, a synthesis of noble materials that perfectly fits modern environments and the needs of contemporary furniture.
