MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni's intuition. The initial artisanal character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting from ceramic materials, the company gradually expanded its lines of interior accessories, paying close attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and craftsmanship.
After Paolo's premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and international expansion. This period marked the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic and fabric, and predicted success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution, leading the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder's daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. The company now combines fifty years of experience with artisanal production and management concepts, offering the most refined and demanding clients a fully Italian luxury experience.
