Wood, selection

Experts at Tiferno carefully and thoughtfully select only the best wood species, verify optimal cutting, and check seasoning before subjecting the wood to processing procedures that highlight its unique qualities.

Wood, stabilization

Like all living materials, wood undergoes changes even after processing: therefore, furniture in its natural state is left for several months to fully stabilize.
After stabilization, the furniture is carefully sanded and smoothed by our master craftsmen, preparing it for painting. Once sanded and smoothed, the craftsmen prepare it for finishing with beeswax, which imparts a completely natural color and softness.
