For over 50 years, the company has researched, designed, and manufactured furniture components in the purest Florentine tradition. Surrounded by the art of Florence, Andrea Fanfani learned the finest craftsmanship techniques of classic Italian furniture and immersed himself daily in the beauty that left a lifelong mark on him.
Craftsmanship Knowledge
Elegant decorations of the Florentine school transformed classic furniture into exceptional works of art: thanks to sculptures and gold leaf, traditional Italian wooden furniture gained a refined, soft touch imbued with the vitality of Florentine artisan workshops in the San Frediano district.
Each piece of furniture is crafted and decorated exclusively by hand, with the utmost care, following the ancient culture of Florentine workshops, which aimed to decorate and furnish the Renaissance palaces that Florence is famous for across Europe.
The Magic of Solid Gold
The gilding technique uses only 23-karat gold leaf, applied exclusively by hand, following the Florentine “guazzo” technique (gilding with gouache), an ancient decorative art dating back to the 13th century. The final effect provides stunning brilliance and durability.
