History – we tell it ourselves!

When we were children, we were placed in front of a lathe. Day after day, year after year, this lathe achieved success in the workshop.

Today, we are known worldwide. But we haven't changed the way we work. We can't, that's just who we are. We love well-made things. Do you know what well-made means? It’s something you’ve thought about, designed, forged, and built right here, before your eyes.

We are not among them. Every day we wake up and look at its beauty. It is a mirror of the sky. We have ancient roots. We have hills and villages that inspire artists. For centuries.

Behind us, above us, on a granite promontory, is the Sanctuary of Madonna del Sasso. From here, you can admire the view of the entire lake, then Mottarone, the Alps, and in front of us, Sacro Monte di San Giulio with 20 chapels decorated with Morazzone frescoes. Straight ahead, in the middle of the lake, is the Island with a Basilica built in the 4th century, rebuilt in the year 1000. It is important to surround ourselves with beauty and create beauty while protecting nature. We have always done this.

That’s why we meet many international certifications, including the most stringent in the world: certification for the USA and California, which require completely non-toxic products. The brass we love and use does not contain lead. Our faucets do not release nickel and zinc into the water you drink. Nicolazzi S.p.A. has been operating for over 50 years in the sanitary fittings industry, where it independently and originally tests and designs its products in accordance with international standards.
