In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. An important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., a pioneering idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn.
