In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori rugs gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its market to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that a headquarters was opened in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. Following a collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., an innovative idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. In this way, a unique and very special rug is created, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
