Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern pattern of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its Italian market designs worldwide. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so significantly that a headquarters was established in China. An important project was launched in 2008. Collaborating with Diesel S.p.a., the innovative idea paved the way: repurposing old carpets to create something entirely new and giving them a second life, aligned with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and highly distinctive rug, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
