Sartori is an Italian brand born in the heart of Veneto, driven by a passion for high-quality design and ancient tradition of handwoven knots. Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling beautiful carpets in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, as the modern design of Sartori carpets gained popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its design market to the whole world. In the 21st century, production and sales expanded so much that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., the modern idea paved the way: using old carpets to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This is how the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique carpets are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn.
