MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the founder Paolo Marioni. The initial artisan character of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has taken on its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the company gradually developed lines of interior accessories, paying particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are linked to creative details and craftsmanship.
After Paolo’s premature death in 1992, his son Simone took over the company and led its development and expansion into international markets. This was the time of the Cultura d’Arredo collection launch, which showcases an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric and heralds success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products that reference the past but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy.”
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the company to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s eldest daughter, joined the company as head of communications and quality, marking further generational evolution. Thus, the company reaches the present with a wealth of fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are shared with the most sophisticated and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
