In our effort to improve quality of life without burdening the environment we live in—because we all share a larger home: our planet. Our wood comes exclusively from certified areas designated for logging and reforestation, possessing the PEFC certification (logo of the “Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes,” which assesses national forest certification systems). This guarantees the wood’s origin from sustainably managed forests that are replanted according to recognized criteria and sustainability indicators at an international level. Several factors ensure a balance between environmental, social, and economic values of forests, respecting the ancient harmony between humans and nature—sources of wealth that must be protected and preserved from exploitation.
