Sartori is an Italian manufacturer born in the heart of Veneto from a passion for high-quality design with a long tradition of handwoven knots. Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling wonderful rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, and then in 1920, a second in Rovigo, for home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the modern pattern of Sartori rugs began to gain popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand embraced this trend and expanded its Italian market design worldwide. These luxurious rugs are gaining recognition across the globe, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it required opening headquarters in China. A very important project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., the innovative idea paves the way: using old rugs to create something completely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. Thus, the Vintage Patchwork Carpet was born, telling a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This results in a unique and very special rug, a synthesis of noble materials that perfectly fits modern environments and the needs of contemporary furniture.
