Their journey began in 1882 when patriarch Luigi Sartori started selling exquisite rugs in Verona, opening the first shop, followed by a second in Rovigo in 1920, specializing in home furnishings.  In the 1950s, when the innovative design of Sartori rugs started gaining popularity in Scandinavian countries, the brand capitalized on this trend and expanded its design market to the whole world. These elegant rugs gained recognition worldwide, becoming a sought-after item in designer interiors.

In the 21st century, production and sales expanded to such an extent that it became necessary to open a headquarters in China. A significant project was launched in 2008. From collaboration with Diesel S.p.a., the innovative idea paved the way: using old rugs to create something entirely new and give them a second life, in line with a fresh and youthful style. This gave birth to the Vintage Patchwork Carpet, which tells a story of rebirth: classic or antique rugs are faded, cut, painted, and hand-sewn. This process results in a unique and very special rug, a blend of noble materials that fits perfectly into contemporary environments and meets the needs of modern furniture.
