Description
Knowledge of urban areas is a vivid reflection of MAD Architekci's key design philosophy. Inspired by MAD's Absolute Towers, the contemporary Torsion wardrobe consists of dynamically flowing layers with a unique natural wood grain pattern, finished with a high-gloss lacquer.
The Scandinavian pattern of the modern Torsion cabinet is combined with gold leaf layers, creating a more classically luxurious decorative element that connects urban homes with organic energy.
The Malabar brand was established in 2012, alongside the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory series.
Malabar has left its mark at the most prestigious international fairs, such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing.
Malabar furniture production originates from the Porto area, in northern Portugal, known for its long-standing tradition of handcrafted products.
The identity of this luxury brand is rooted in the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.
International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxury furniture.
The various techniques used to produce products from natural wood yield incredible effects, as seen in Malabar's exceptional collections. An important aspect of the design is the combination of neutral and black colors.
Juicy and vivid colors dominate, significantly deviating from classic and stereotypical furniture.
Besides wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.
The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in bold furniture designs.
The company's name itself derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The value of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.
This remains true today, as Malabar continues to set highly individual boundaries in design and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely exclusive.
And these are the products we love and introduce on the My Luxury Products platform.
