Description

Siza Vieira, the name of the architect who inspired the modern Leveza table, believed that "architects don't invent anything; they simply change reality." Evidence of this is the realization of Leveza in such a unique and refined piece of art that it can adapt to its surroundings in an incredibly authentic way.

It cannot be denied that the contemporary Leveza table, made from exotic wood and an iron structure, stands out in a luxurious living space due to its elegance, sobriety, and sophistication.

Malabar Manufactory was established in 2012, along with the launch of a wide range of decorative Fado guitars and the elegant World Architects furniture collection. It has designed and released a total of 5 exceptional furniture and accessory collections.

Malabar has left its mark at major international fairs such as 100% Design London, Maison & Objet, Decorex, Stockholm Furniture Fair, and Seoul International. These are among the top venues for showcasing.

Malabar's design originates from the Porto region in northern Portugal, an area with a long and strong tradition of handcrafted products.

The identity of this prestigious brand is based on the architectural and artistic heritage of the past five centuries.

International experience and a pursuit of perfection are the details that define such original companies. Emotions, handcrafted execution, and space-inspired design create an explosive mix of luxurious furniture.

Various techniques in producing products from natural wood yield incredible effects, as seen in Malabar's exceptional collections. An important aspect of their design is the combination of neutral and black colors.

Juicy and vivid hues dominate, significantly diverging from classic and stereotypical furniture.

Besides wood, the manufacturer uses brass, gold and silver leaf, as well as other high-quality raw materials.

The Portuguese soul is very colorful and fascinating, clearly reflected in their bold furniture designs.

The company's name itself derives from Malabar black pepper. Along with other spices, it changed the course of trade history with the discovery of the Cape. The rarity of original spices prompted Portuguese merchants to chart a daring sea route.

This remains true today, as Malabar continues to set highly individual boundaries in design and evokes strong emotions with its projects. They are very liberated, seductive, bold, and extremely exclusive.

And these are exactly the kinds of products we love and feature on the My Luxury Products platform.

What raw materials does Malabar use in its production?

The brand employs the most luxurious types of wood, including: ebony, walnut, American walnut, oak, ironwood, elm, basswood, olive wood, bird's eye, irregular grain, poplar, satinwood, and ash.
