W&W was founded in 2001 in New York City. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this unique place. For making rugs, raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen are used.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. The rugs are then transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, gaining their final appearance.
Thanks to the increased content of lanolin, these rugs are softer, more resistant to dirt, and acquire a beautiful sheen. The variety of patterns means that everyone will find a gem in the Warp & Weft offer that suits the most refined tastes.
