W&W was founded in 2001 in New York City. It was then that Michael Mandapati decided to establish this unique place. They use raw materials such as Himalayan wool, mulberry silk, as well as nettle, hemp, and linen to make their rugs.
All products are made in Nepal, where highly skilled weavers craft them by hand. The rugs are then transported to Switzerland, where they are finished, giving them their final appearance.
Thanks to the increased content of lanolin, these rugs are softer, more resistant to dirt, and gain a beautiful sheen. The variety of patterns ensures that everyone will find a gem in the Warp & Weft collection that suits even the most refined tastes.
