MARIONI is a family story
The company, now in its third generation, was founded in Florence in 1966 by the visionary Paolo Marioni. The initial artisanal nature of the workshop quickly evolved, and since the 1980s, it has adopted its current corporate identity. Starting with ceramic materials, the product lines for interior furnishings gradually expanded, with particular attention to color combinations, finishes, and decorations. Their objects are characterized by creative details and manual craftsmanship.
After Paolo's untimely death in 1992, his son Simone took over the brand and led its development and international expansion.
This period marked the launch of the Cultura d’Arredo collection, showcasing an extraordinary combination of ceramic/fabric, which heralded success through precise market positioning: Marioni offers its clients a range of luxurious products inspired by the past, but with a touch of charm, reflecting the uniqueness, authenticity, and originality of “made in Italy”.
The 2000s brought consolidation of distribution worldwide and the beginning of an organizational and managerial evolution that has prepared the brand to face new digital challenges, including the creation of its own archive of 3D models ready for AR/VR experiences.
In 2018, Vittoria, the founder’s firstborn, joined the company as Head of Communications and Quality, confirming ongoing generational evolution. Thus, the company moves into the present, enriched with fifty years of experience, where artisanal production and management concepts are offered to the most refined and demanding clients seeking entirely Italian luxury.
